Is being certified by the SPFA going to fix the problem? Ultimately, if [contractors] can't afford to do the job right to begin with, how are they going to afford doing a certification through the SPFA?

Michael "Foam It" Fischer, of Dakota Applicators, is a 10 year spray foam insulation industry who has overcome a lot of adversity to get where he is at today. I spoke with Michael about the struggles he and his brother, DJ, overcame in their early days, why he left his family farming business to focus solely on spray foam, and what growing into a larger market has been like.

We sat down with spray foam veteran, John Becker, and got a brief look into his 44 year SPF career.
